• Mision - Business center Dobrich is a non-government organization which aims at encouraging private business activities and contributing new jobs creating through assisting and conducting services for micro and small companies, unemployed, private farmers and vulnerable groups from Dobrich and General Toshevo Municipalities.

• assisting and encouraging local economy development;

• contributing to creation of sustainable environment for business development and establishing of successful small enterprises;

• establishing of partnerships among local authorities, non-governmental organizations and local businesses.

• Micro and small enterprises that have idea to expand their activities and to create new jobs;

• Unemployed who are actively seeking jobs and intending to start own business;

• Private farmers;

• Vulnerable groups.

Buziness center Dobrich is an organization in public benefit. The organization is founded on 28 October 2003 and it is registered in Dobrich Regional Court. Business center Dobrich is established under “Jobs opportunities through business support” Project which is funded by Ministry of Labour and social suuport and managed by UNDP. Project has sarted at the end of 2000 and will continue till the end of 2005. JOBS Project implements special instruments for establishing and supporting micro and small firms and encourages permanent employment in municipalities with high unemployment.

Business center Dobrich constituent assembly was held on 28 October 2003. Organization’s founders are 16 legal entities and physical persons altogether - Dobrich Municipality; Regional Labour Office; Chamber og Commerce and Trade – Dobrich; Business club Dobrich; Dobrich Fair Jsc; Accounting and consulting house – Prima 101 Ltd; “Kasida” Ltd; “Veselina Trade” Ltd; “Dobrudja” Ltd; “Skitia 1 GT” Ltd; “Kelto” Ltd; “Artprint” – sole proprietor; “Rastitelna zashtita-Agro” Ltd; “Tonegan” Ltd; Svetlana Yanakieva and Kamen Krumov.

• General Assembly – General Assembvly is the supreme body og the organization. Business center Dobrich General Assembly consists of 16 legal and physical entities. General Assembly is a permanent managing body of the association and everybody or legal entity can be its member voluntarily.

Members of Board of Directors are -Chairman Galina Miteva - Dobrich Municipality, Deputy Chairman Nadejda Petkova – team leader of Business center, Vassil Sivkov – Director of Labour Office, Silvia Koleva – Manager of “Kasida” Ltd, Pavlina Nikolova – Manager of “Skitia 1 GT” from General Toshevo.

• Chairman - The chairman and deputy chairman represent Organization, organize and manage all activities and everyday work of Business Center Dobrich. The deputy chairman of Board of Directors is the team leader of Business Center Dobrich.

Team leader – organize, coordinate and manage everyday tasks of team members; participate in meetings and seminars related to Business center activities; organize trainings and workshops; conduct consulting services with project target groups; prepare activity reports for Central Coordination Unit; participate and preside Leasing Committee; exchange experience and good practices and keep in touch with Business centers network; popularizes project goals in the local media; keep all assets and equipment of Business center. Team leader was Svetlana Yanakieva (until November 1, 2004).

Financial consultant – responsible for development, management and implementation of finacial instruments of Business center; conduct financial consultations with target groups; develop business plans of clients and present them to Leasing Committee; prepare financial reports of Business center; organize and participate in trainings. Financial consultant is Georgi Tconev |e-mail|.

Marketing consultant – conduct consultations and organize marketing trainings for target groups; assess market needs and opportunities of the target groups; carry out marketing researches; assess all information; prepare reports and keep in touch with other Business centers. Marketing consultant is eng. Maria Gavrailova |e-mail|.

Business consultant - responsible for development, management and implementation of finacial instruments of Business center; conduct consultations with target groups for assessing their market needs and opportunities; carry out marketing researches. Business consultant is Vesselin Stanev who works at the Business center office in General Toshevo |e-mail|.

Information Technology expert – organize and deliver computer and Internet trainings; seek and prepare information under clients’ request; prepare web cites; prepare reports; assist in promotion materials preparation and popularize Business center activities on internet; maintain equipment and software. IT expert is Mihail Georgiev |e-mail|.

Administrative assistant – receive information from telphone calls and give it to team members; assist team members in their everyday work; keep Business center office in good condition; process all correspondence and keep register of all office documents; participate in trainings and workshops. Administrative assistant is Anelia Dimitrova |e-mail|.

All team members have knowledge and experience in the field of management, marketing, finance, accounting and information technologies. Central Coordination Unit organizes qualification trainings for improving professional capacity of team members. There is a good microclimate in the Business center Dobrich and all members have great motivation for working which is a good prerequisite for achieving better results.
